Butterwood Desserts was founded in 1996 in Western New York. Its intent was to be a premier wholesale dessert manufacturer driven from feedback from Restaurateurs and Chefs from around western New York. The current market choices were lacking taste and filled with preservatives; in essence, they were expressing how unhappy they were with the current dessert choices on the market at that time. In 1997 began providing the Marriott Hotel chain with desserts… Today, Butterwood is a proud member of the Golbon marketing group and have 11 distributors in 15 states throughout the nation. Currently, we have 2 restaurants of which to choose from to dine and enjoy Butterwood Desserts. We not only sell to our friends in the retail market place, WE ARE in the market place. This allows us a competitive edge when we talk about desserts; we know what the customer is looking for and is expecting. |
